Tewfik Jallab, born on January 9, 1982, is a French actor of Algerian descent. Raised in Créteil, a southeastern suburb of Paris, he initially pursued a career in sports, excelling in athletics, particularly the 400 meters. However, a serious injury led him to explore acting. He began his acting journey with small roles in television before making his feature film debut in Banlieue 13 (2004).Jallab has since built a solid career in French cinema and television, appearing in a variety of roles. Some of his notable film credits include Inside (2007), Taken 2 (2012), La Marche (2013), and Le Chant du loup (2019). He has also been featured in several popular French television series, such as Engrenages (Spiral), Braquo, and Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau). In 2025, he played the character of Redouane in Olivier Marchal's film Squad 36.
