Theo Taplitz is an American actor, director, and writer, best known for his role as Jake Jardine in the 2016 film Little Men, directed by Ira Sachs. Born in 2003 to writer-director Daniel Taplitz and author Iona Brindle, Theo hails from a creative family and began his artistic journey at a young age. His interest in filmmaking sparked in fourth grade when he created a short film for a school project, leading him to pursue filmmaking and acting more seriously. By the time he was 13, he had already written, directed, and produced several short films, including F is for Freedom, Cereal Killer, and True Places Never Are, which showcased his multifaceted talents and earned recognition at film festivals. In addition to his work in Little Men, Theo appeared in the 2018 film Gringo, where he portrayed Justin . He also starred in the 2019 comedy Wyrm, further demonstrating his range as an actor .
