Thibault de Montalembert is a French theater, film, and television actor. Born on February 10, 1962, in Laval, France, he is a highly respected figure in French entertainment and has gained international recognition for his work. He was a resident of the prestigious Comédie-Française from 1994 to 1996.He is perhaps best known to international audiences for his leading role as Mathias Barneville in the French television series Call My Agent! (originally titled Dix pour cent), which won an International Emmy Award for Best Comedy in 2021. His television credits also include The Tunnel, The Veil, and Franklin.In film, de Montalembert has appeared in a wide array of French and international productions. Some of his notable film roles include appearances in Indochine, Chocolat, and Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch. He also had a prominent role as General Ferdinand Foch in the Oscar-winning film All Quiet on the Western Front (2022) and was featured in the 2023 film My Mother's Wedding. In addition to his on-screen work, he is a prolific voice actor and is the regular French dubbing voice for English actor Hugh Grant. He has been married to actress Hélène Babu since 2014.
