Thuan Nguyen

Born on April 28, 1992, in Vietnam, Thuận Nguyễn is a versatile actor and model who has become one of the most recognizable leading men in contemporary Vietnamese cinema. Standing at an impressive 1.88 meters (6'2"), he first gained significant public attention through the pageant circuit, notably being named the runner-up and winning the "Best Talent" award at the Mister Global 2017 competition. This initial success as a model provided a springboard into professional acting, where he spent years honing his craft in theater and television before transitioning into high-profile film roles. His cinematic career is marked by a willingness to undergo extreme physical transformations for his roles, earning him a reputation as a highly dedicated performer. He gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Ken in the romantic drama Naked Truth (Bẫy Ngọt Ngào, 2022), for which he famously lost a significant amount of weight to depict a character battling illness. This commitment continued with his role as the formidable Hai Chợ Điên in the action-thriller Furies (Thanh Sói, 2023), directed by Ngô Thanh Vân, where he showcased his range in a grittier, more antagonistic capacity. In late 2023, Thuận Nguyễn reached a new career peak starring as Nhân in Victor Vu’s period epic The Last Wife (Người Vợ Cuối Cùng). Playing the star-crossed lover to Kaity Nguyễn’s character, he received praise for his ability to balance physical presence with tender emotional vulnerability. Beyond the big screen, he has remained a familiar face to domestic audiences through television series like Đứa Em Thừa Kế and has built a strong presence as a fashion icon and brand ambassador, consistently ranking among the most influential young actors in the Vietnamese entertainment industry.
