Tim Plester

Timothy Marc Plester is a British actor, playwright, and filmmaker, born on September 10, 1970, in Oxfordshire, England. He received a BA in Theatre from Dartington College of Arts and an MA (Hons) in playwriting studies from Birmingham University, and also won the 1992/93 National Student Playwright Of The Year award. Plester has an extensive acting career in film and television, with notable roles including Black Walder Rivers in the HBO series Game of Thrones, the homeless junkie Julian in Netflix's After Life, Roy Thomas Baker in the film Bohemian Rhapsody, and Fay Drolla in the Disney series Andor. In addition to acting, Plester is an accomplished writer and filmmaker. He is well-known for co-directing a number of documentaries with Rob Curry, including Way of the Morris, The Ballad of Shirley Collins, and Southern Journey (Revisited). He is also the writer and creator of cult comedy short films such as Ant Muzak, Blake's Junction 7, and World of Wrestling. Plester's other creative work includes writing and directing the multi-award-winning romantic-comedy short English Language (With English Subtitles).
