Timur Mikhailovich Kerimov, widely known by his stage name Timur Rodriguez, is a multi-talented Russian entertainer, singer, and television personality born on October 14, 1979, in Penza. The son of an Azerbaijani puppet theater actor and a Jewish teacher, he was raised in a creative environment and began his path to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) team "Valeon Dasson" alongside future star Pavel Volya. In the mid-2000s, he became a household name as a resident of the Comedy Club, where he was known for his musical parodies and high-energy performances. Around the same time, he adopted the pseudonym Rodriguez and transitioned into hosting, serving as a prominent DJ on MTV Russia and leading popular shows such as Crocodile, Sexy Chart, and Dances Without Rules. Beyond comedy and hosting, Rodriguez has cultivated a successful career as a pop musician, launching his singing career in earnest in 2009 with the award-winning duet "Passion" featuring Ani Lorak. He has since released numerous singles and albums, including About You and New World, often blending pop, R&B, and dance influences. His versatility extends to voice acting, where he has provided the Russian dubbing for major international animated characters, including Jack Frost in Rise of the Guardians, Turbo in Turbo, and Bruno Madrigal in Disney's Encanto. In recent years, he has remained a fixture of Russian primetime television as a regular panelist on the hit reality competition The Masked Singer (Maska). Personally, he was married to Anna Devochkina from 2007 until their separation in late 2023, and they share two sons.
