Titus Welliver is a highly accomplished American actor, born on March 12, 1962, in New Haven, Connecticut. He comes from an artistic family; his father, Neil Welliver, was a renowned landscape painter, and his mother, Norma Cripps, was a fashion illustrator. He was raised in an environment surrounded by poets and painters, initially pursuing painting himself before transitioning to acting. He studied drama at New York University in the early 1980s.Welliver has built an extensive and diverse career across film, television, and voice-over, known for his strong and often intense character portrayals. He is perhaps best recognized for his leading role as the titular character, Detective Harry Bosch, in the critically acclaimed Amazon series Bosch (2014-2021) and its spin-off, Bosch: Legacy (2022-present). This role has solidified his status as a prominent figure in crime dramas.Beyond Bosch, his notable television roles include Silas Adams in HBO's Deadwood, the mysterious Man in Black in Lost, Jimmy O'Phelan in Sons of Anarchy, and Prosecutor Glenn Childs in The Good Wife.
