The show gained a cult following and was adapted into the Netflix series Murderville in 2022. Davis's other notable television work includes co-creating and starring in King Gary (2018–2021), a sitcom about a suburban family man, and appearing in The Curse (2022), a comedy crime drama . In film, Davis has appeared in Paddington 2 (2017), Free Fire (2016), and Prevenge (2016). He also featured in Wonka (2023), a musical fantasy film starring Timothée Chalamet, where he portrayed Felix Fickelgruber, a chocolatier and rival to Willy Wonka .
