His journey into acting began after a successful baseball career, where he represented Hong Kong in the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games. At just 10 years old, he was selected for the Hong Kong Youth Olympics team, showcasing his early athletic prowess. Despite his sports achievements, Wu transitioned into acting, making his debut in the 2016 sports film Weeds on Fire. His portrayal of a rebellious baseball player earned him the Best New Performer award at the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards, marking a significant milestone in his acting career.
