Torrance Coombs is a Canadian-American actor, born on June 14, 1983, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began acting to overcome shyness, and after performing in high school productions, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from the University of British Columbia. Coombs is well-known for his roles in historical and fantasy television dramas.His breakout role came in 2013 with the series Reign, where he played Sebastian "Bash" de Poitiers, a fan-favorite character who was the illegitimate son of King Henry II. He also gained recognition for his recurring role as Thomas Culpepper in the Showtime series The Tudors. Coombs has also appeared in other notable television shows such as Supernatural, The Originals, and Still Star-Crossed. In addition to his television work, he has been cast in various films, including the upcoming romantic comedy The Wrong Paris (2025).
