Tovino Thomas
Tovino Thomas is an Indian actor and film producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. Born on January 21, 1989, in Irinjalakuda, Kerala, he initially worked as a software engineer before pursuing his passion for acting. He made his film debut in 2012 with Prabhuvinte Makkal and gained critical acclaim with his supporting role in Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.His career soared with diverse roles in films like Mayanadhi (2017) and the superhero film Minnal Murali (2021), the latter of which became a major Netflix success and cemented his status as a leading star. He has received numerous awards, including a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for Mayanadhi and a SIIMA Award for Best Actor for Minnal Murali. In 2021, he launched his own production house, Tovino Thomas Productions. In addition to his lead roles, he has made a number of cameo appearances in films, including the 2025 film Lokah: Chapter One - Chandra. He is married to Lidiya Tovino and has two children.
