Tracey Ullman

Tracey Ullman, born Trace Ullman on December 30, 1959, is a British-American actress, singer, dancer, screenwriter, producer, and director widely celebrated for her versatility as a "character actress" and master of sketch comedy. After training at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and working as a professional dancer, she gained prominence in the UK on stage and in television, notably winning a BAFTA for the sketch comedy show Three of a Kind (1981–1983) and enjoying a brief but successful pop music career with multiple UK Top 40 hits, including "They Don't Know." Her career took off in the United States with the launch of her pioneering Fox network series, "The Tracey Ullman Show" (1987–1990), a variety show famous for featuring the debut of The Simpsons animated shorts. She continued her acclaimed work in the U.S. with the HBO series "Tracey Takes On..."
