Travina Springer is an American actress and comedian, known for her versatile performances across film and television. Her upbringing involved frequent relocation due to her father's military service, which she credits with fostering her adaptability and appreciation for diversity. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and has even performed with the non-profit Deaf West Theatre.A Florida A&M University alumna, Springer converted to Islam during her undergraduate studies after being deeply impacted by Malcolm X's autobiography. Her acting career includes roles in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel (2022), where she played Tyesha Hill, Kamala Khan's sister-in-law and a Muslim convert, a role that resonated with her personal experiences. She also had a significant role as Kylie Mercer in the NBC drama The Irrational (2023-2025).Springer's film credits include Clint Eastwood's The Mule (2018), Valentine's Day (2010), and We Bare Bears: The Movie (2020).
