Travis Kelce

Travis Michael Kelce, born on October 5, 1989, in Westlake, Ohio, is an American professional football tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL) and is widely considered one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the sport. He attended the University of Cincinnati, where he played college football alongside his older brother, Jason Kelce, a former NFL center. After a successful collegiate career, despite a one-year suspension for a failed drug test, Travis was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.Since joining the Chiefs, Kelce has consistently been a dominant force, becoming a favorite target of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and setting numerous NFL records for a tight end. His achievements include holding the record for most consecutive and most overall seasons with 1,000 receiving yards by a tight end (seven), and the most receiving yards by a tight end in a single season (1,416 in 2020). He is a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs (Super Bowls LIV in 2020, LVII in 2023, and LVIII in 2024), a ten-time Pro Bowler, and a seven-time All-Pro. He also holds the NFL record for most career postseason receptions and receiving touchdowns by a tight end.Beyond his impressive on-field career, Kelce has gained significant public attention. He co-hosts the popular "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason, covering football and popular culture, which has become a top podcast in the US. His personal life has also been in the spotlight, notably since he began dating pop superstar Taylor Swift in 2023, further expanding his fan base and media presence. He has also ventured into entertainment, including hosting Saturday Night Live and appearing in various advertisements.
