The son of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and actress Janet Jones, he initially pursued a career in sports. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 7th round of the 2011 MLB amateur draft and played for several years in Minor League Baseball.After his baseball career concluded, Gretzky pivoted to acting and has appeared in a number of films. His credits include roles in Mile 22 (2018), American Siege (2021), and Cosmic Sin (2021), where he co-starred with Bruce Willis.
