Trix Vivier
Trix Vivier, born on June 28, 1988, in Cape Town, South Africa, is a versatile actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. Raised in Melkbosstrand, she was encouraged by her parents—her mother Adri, a drama teacher, and her father Pieter, an advocate—to pursue the performing arts from a young age. She began her professional stage career at 15 in Annie Get Your Gun (2004) and continued with Die Ander Marta (2005) at the Baxter Theatre. Vivier graduated from Jan van Riebeeck High School and later earned a diploma in Performing Arts from the Waterfront Theatre School in 2009. Her early career included roles in children's theater and educational musicals. She gained significant recognition portraying Flea van Jaarsveld in the 2019 Cinemax/HBO series Trackers, which brought her international acclaim. Following this, she starred as Petra Potgieter in the South African telenovela Legacy, a role that resonated deeply with audiences. Other notable performances include leading roles in Juffrou X, Umjolo: Day Ones (Netflix), and the upcoming feature film The Trek, co-produced by XYZ Films and Germany's Global Screen. In 2022, Vivier relocated to Dubai with her family, balancing her career between Dubai, Amsterdam, and Cape Town. She is fluent in both Afrikaans and English and has a background in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and choreography.
