Tuğrul Tülek is a distinguished Turkish actor, director, translator, and educator, born on September 26, 1976, in Istanbul. He graduated in 1999 from Uludağ University with a degree in English Language Teaching. Shortly thereafter, he began his acting career at the Bursa Culture, Art, and Tourism Foundation Theater. In 2002, he pursued a second bachelor's degree in acting at Anadolu University State Conservatory, graduating in 2006. During his studies, he participated in an Erasmus exchange program, training at the prestigious Aleksandra Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, Poland . Tülek's theatrical career gained significant momentum with his role as "Naz" in Tiyatro DOT's production of Kürklü Merkür (2007–2008), earning him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 12th Afife Theater Awards . He further solidified his reputation with his performance in İki Kişilik Yaz (2015), which garnered him the Best Actor award at the 19th Afife Theater Awards and recognition as the Male Actor of the Year by the Theater Critics Association . In addition to his stage work, Tülek has made notable appearances in Turkish television and cinema. His television roles include "Levent Koroğlu" in Camdaki Kız (2021–2023), "Albay Stavro" in Vatanım Sensin (2016), and "Civan Koral" in Ruhun Duymaz (2023) . In film, he portrayed "Kamuran" in Başka Dilde Aşk (2009), "K" in Canavarlar Sofrası (2010), and "Levent" in Pek Yakında (2014). Beyond his performance career, Tülek is an educator and a founding member of UrbanPlus, an initiative that integrates acting techniques into corporate training, focusing on empathy, leadership, and creativity .
