Tuwaine Barrett is a British actor, born on September 15, 1995, in Chelsea, England, and raised on the Doddington Estate in Battersea, London. He attended Salesian College for his GCSEs before pursuing performing arts at the BRIT School for two years, where he performed in productions at the Young Vic theatre. He then furthered his training with a three-year BA (Hons) in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2017.Barrett has quickly established himself with a range of roles across film, television, and theatre. His notable film credits include the Marvel blockbuster "Spider-Man: Far From Home" (2019), Armando Iannucci's "The Personal History of David Copperfield" (2019), the musical crime drama "Blue Story" (2019), the Amy Winehouse biopic "Back to Black" (2024) where he played producer Salaam Remi, and the biblical musical comedy "The Book of Clarence" (2024).
