Vachirawich Aranthanawong
Vachirawich Aranthanawong, often known by his stage name Ryu, is a Thai actor, model, and singer who has a background as a national youth table tennis player. Born on October 10, 2000, he originally used the birth name Vachirawich Aranthanawong before changing his surname to Wattanaphakdipaisan (Thai: วชิรวิชญ์ วัฒนภักดีไพศาล). He is known for his height of 190 cm (6 ft 3 in) and his striking good looks, which led to him being scouted for the entertainment industry. He was a member of the popular Thai idol group Nine by Nine (9x9) from 2018 to 2019, which involved him in both music and acting projects. Vachirawich is currently an actor under Channel 3 HD and has appeared in several television dramas, including Until the Sun Meets the Star, To the Moon and Back, and Dalah: Death and the Flowers. He is a graduate of Thammasat University's Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication and has recently starred in the 2025 Thai crime-thriller film Everybody Loves Me When I'm Dead.
