Vadhir Derbez is a Mexican actor and singer, born on February 18, 1991, in Mexico City. He is a member of the renowned Derbez family of entertainers; his father is the famous comedian and actor Eugenio Derbez, and his grandmother was actress Silvia Derbez. Vadhir began his acting career at a young age, starting in 1997 on his father's program, Derbez en Cuando. He quickly built a solid career in Mexican television, notably appearing in the popular soap opera Cómplices Al Rescate (2002) and the sitcom Vecinos (2005-2006). He gained broader recognition after winning the first season of the reality dance competition Mira Quien Baila in 2010. His transition to film included voice roles and live-action parts in Mexican movies like Ladrones (2015) and 3 Idiotas (2017). He made his Hollywood debut in the film How to Be a Latin Lover (2017), where he played the younger version of his father's character. Vadhir has also explored international projects, securing a role in the Netflix series Sense8 (2016) and American films like The Seventh Day (2021) and White Elephant (2022). Beyond acting, Vadhir is actively pursuing a career as a singer, releasing his self-titled debut EP in 2016 and subsequent singles like "Me Haces Sentir," "Mala," and "Buena Suerte."
