Varun Dhawan is a prominent Indian actor and one of the highest-paid stars in Hindi cinema, known for his versatile roles across commercial entertainers and critically acclaimed dramas. Born in 1987 to film director David Dhawan, he earned a business degree from Nottingham Trent University before assisting Karan Johar on the film My Name Is Khan (2010). Varun made his successful acting debut in Johar's 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year and quickly rose to fame with commercially successful romantic comedies like Main Tera Hero (2014) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), and dance films like ABCD 2 (2015).
