Vicki Pepperdine is a distinguished English actress and writer, celebrated for her contributions to British comedy television and radio. Born on July 24, 1961, in London, she pursued a degree in History of Art at the University of East Anglia before transitioning into acting at the age of 27. Pepperdine trained at East 15 Acting School, inspired by her admiration for actress Alison Steadman . Pepperdine co-created and starred in the BBC Four sitcom Getting On (2009–2012), alongside Jo Brand and Joanna Scanlan. The series, set in a geriatric ward, earned critical acclaim and multiple awards, including BAFTA nominations for Best Writing and a British Comedy Award for Pepperdine's portrayal of Pippa Moore. In 2014, she co-wrote and starred in the BBC Four comedy series Puppy Love, which humorously explores the dynamics of dog training classes.
