He first rose to national fame in the early 2000s as a co-host of the irreverent morning show Morning Live on M6 alongside Michaël Youn and Benjamin Morgaine. He is also well-known for his recurring role as Philippe in the long-running television series Scènes de ménages. In addition to his screen work, he is an avid skateboarder and has maintained a consistent presence in French media through hosting duties on channels like W9 and Gulli. As of 2026, Desagnat remains highly active in the entertainment industry. He stars in the 2026 film Marsupilami, reunited with his frequent collaborators to bring the iconic comic book character to life. He is also currently starring in the daily M6 series Nouveau jour, which premiered in mid-2025, and is touring from March to June 2026 in the theatrical production of La Veuve rusée (The Cunning Widow).
