Irving Rameses "Ving" Rhames, born on May 12, 1959, is a powerfully built and recognizable American actor celebrated for his commanding presence and deep voice. He discovered his passion for acting in high school and honed his skills at the Juilliard School of Drama. Rhames began his career in New York theater and gained early exposure through soap operas before his breakthrough role as the memorable crime boss Marsellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction (1994). He further solidified his reputation with his portrayal of the cool and reliable IMF agent Luther Stickell in the Mission: Impossible film series, becoming the only actor besides Tom Cruise to appear in all installments.
