Vito Sanz
Vito Sanz, born in Huesca, Spain, in 1982, is a Spanish actor and a frequent collaborator with director Jonás Trueba. He began his acting career after studying dramatic arts in Barcelona and has been based in Madrid for over 15 years. His breakthrough film role came in Trueba's The Wishful Thinkers (2013). Sanz has since become a key figure in Trueba's cinematic universe, starring in films such as The Romantic Exiles (2015), The August Virgin (2019), You Have to Come and See It (2022), and The Other Way Around (2024), for which he also received a Goya Award nomination for Best Actor.Beyond his work with Jonás Trueba, Sanz has also collaborated with other members of the Trueba family, including Fernando Trueba in The Queen of Spain (2016) and David Trueba in Almost 40 (2018) and A este lado del mundo (2020). His other notable film credits include María (and Everybody Else) (2016), The Laws of Thermodynamics (2018), and Disco, Ibiza, Locomía (2024). He has also had a successful television career with roles in series like Vergüenza and The Minions of Midas.
