Vladimir Nosik

Vladimir Benediktovich Nosik is a distinguished Soviet and Russian actor, born on April 3, 1948, in Moscow. He graduated from The Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in 1970 and subsequently joined the Actor's Theatre-studio, where he worked for 24 years. Since 1995, he has been a part of the Maly State Academic Theatre of Russia. Nosik is a prolific actor with over 160 movie and television credits. He made his screen debut as a student and has worked with prominent directors of the Soviet era. He is well-known for his roles in films such as The Most Charming and Attractive (1985), Guest from the Future (1985), and The Lilac Ball (1987). Nosik's older brother, Valery Nosik, was also a People's Artist of Russia. Vladimir Nosik holds the honorary titles of Honored Artist of Russia (1993) and People's Artist of Russia (2016) for his outstanding contributions to the performing arts.
