Vladislav Vladimirovich Kopp, born on February 13, 1969, in Yermak (now Aksu), Kazakhstan, is a distinguished Russian actor, voice artist, and radio personality celebrated for his versatile baritone and deep roots in science fiction culture. After graduating from the Schepkin Higher Theatre School in 1993, he rose to cult fame as the creator and host of the legendary radio program "Model for Assembly" (Model dlya sborki), which debuted in 1995. The show, which features Kopp reading science fiction and fantasy stories accompanied by atmospheric electronic music, became a cultural phenomenon in Russia, running for decades across various stations like Radio Maximum and Station 2000, and eventually transitioning into a successful podcast and live performance series. In the realm of voice acting and dubbing, Kopp is one of Russia’s most prolific figures, having lent his voice to hundreds of international film characters and video games. He is the official Russian voice for Heimdall (Idris Elba) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has voiced iconic characters such as Gollum in the Russian dub of The Hobbit trilogy and Whitey in The Lego Movie. His extensive video game credits include providing the Russian voices for Vito Scaletta in Mafia II, Basim/Loki in the Assassin’s Creed series (Valhalla and Mirage), and various roles in Warcraft III and StarCraft II. Additionally, he has appeared as a live-action actor in films and television series like the military comedy DMB and the action film Countdown. Most recently, in the 2021 animated film My Sweet Monster, he voiced the character of Robot Stepan.
