Walton Goggins is an American actor born on November 10, 1971, in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Lithia Springs, Georgia. He began his acting career in the late 1980s and gained significant recognition for his complex and often morally ambiguous characters. Goggins is widely celebrated for his television roles, including the corrupt detective Shane Vendrell in The Shield (2002–2008), the charismatic antagonist Boyd Crowder in Justified (2010–2015), and the unhinged Lee Russell in Vice Principals (2016–2017). More recently, he has garnered acclaim for his portrayal of "Baby" Billy Freeman in The Righteous Gemstones (2019–present) and Cooper Howard/The Ghoul in the critically acclaimed series Fallout (2024–present).Beyond television, Goggins has a substantial film career, often collaborating with renowned directors.
