After dropping out of school at 14 to support his family, he discovered a passion for drama at 24. By 1960, he became a theater actor in his hometown. At 49, he transitioned to pantomime and performance art, creating the unique "Model Pantomime" in 1985, which gained international recognition. Wang gained global fame in 2015 at age 79 when he walked shirtless on the runway during Beijing Fashion Week, earning the nickname "China's Hottest Grandpa" . His commitment to fitness includes daily workouts, swimming, and skating.
