William Nadylam is a French actor and director renowned for his multifaceted career across film, theater, and the performing arts. Born in Montpellier, France, to a Cameroonian father and an Indian mother from Réunion, he was raised in various countries, including Cameroon and Belgium, which enriched his cultural perspective and artistic sensibility . Initially on a path to becoming a doctor like his father, Nadylam shifted to the arts, viewing acting as another form of healing and connection. He began his professional journey in 1988 with the film Black Mic-Mac 2 and later voiced the character of Adult Kirikou in the acclaimed animated film Kirikou and the Sorceress (1998) . Nadylam's theater work includes notable collaborations with esteemed directors such as Peter Brook and Luc Bondy. He portrayed the title role in Hamlet at the Bouffes du Nord in 2002 and starred in Viol by Botho Strauss at the Théâtre de l’Odéon in 2005 .
