Woo Jeong-won is a prolific South Korean actress who has gained significant recognition for her versatile supporting roles in a large volume of popular television dramas. Born in 1983, she has built a solid career, often portraying intense or memorable supporting characters. She is especially known for her appearances in high-profile K-dramas, including Crash Landing on You (2019-2020) as an NK neighborhood woman and having roles in four consecutive tvN dramas: Crash Landing on You, Hi Bye Mama, When My Love Blooms, and It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020), where she received attention for her role as Do Hui-Jae, the protagonist's mother. Her ability to portray complex characters was further highlighted in the critically acclaimed thriller Beyond Evil (2021) and the historical drama Under The Queen's Umbrella (2022) as Consort Ko.
