Wyatt Russell

Wyatt Russell is an American actor and former professional ice hockey player, born on July 10, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Hollywood legends Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, and has two half-siblings, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson. Russell's early life was marked by his passion for hockey, leading him to play for various teams, including the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and professional stints in the Netherlands, Germany, and Canada. However, after several injuries, he transitioned into acting, making his debut in the 1996 film Escape from L.A. He gained recognition for his role as Corporal Lewis Ford in the 2018 horror film Overlord, and further established his acting credentials with notable performances in films such as Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), The Woman in the Window (2021), and the Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021), where he portrayed John Walker. On television, Russell delivered a compelling performance as Dud in AMC's Lodge 49 (2018–2019). In 2024, he starred in the horror film Night Swim, produced by James Wan and Jason Blum. Russell is married to actress Meredith Hagner, whom he met in 2016 while filming Folk Hero & Funny Guy. They married in September 2019 and have two sons: Buddy Prine, born in March 2021, and Boone Joseph, born in February 2024. Russell's parents, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, have expressed their support for his career, hoping that his projects, such as the upcoming Marvel film Thunderbolts (2025), are well-received. Beyond acting, Russell co-founded a lifestyle brand called Lake Hour, which emphasizes the joys of unplugging and connecting with loved ones. His upbringing, divided between Los Angeles and Vancouver, as well as family trips to a lake in Muskoka, Ontario, deeply influenced his sense of balance between work and personal life. With a diverse career spanning sports, acting, and entrepreneurship, Wyatt Russell continues to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
