Xavier Lacaille

Xavier Lacaille, born in 1989, is a multifaceted French artist working as an actor, screenwriter, director, and comedian. His early education included studying law and theater in the United States and England, which he followed by studying screenwriting at La Fémis. Following his studies, he began his career writing sketches and short programs for the Canal Plus authors' office and developing a series for the Comedy channel. As a writer and creator, he co-created and co-wrote several series, including Têtard and Validé (2020) for Canal Plus, and more recently, the series Terminal and Miskina, Poor Thing (2022) for Amazon, on which he also played one of the main roles. As an actor, he is best known for starring as Samy Kantor in the popular French TV series Parlement (2020-2024) and has appeared in films such as The Book of Wonders (La Chambre des merveilles) (2023), Latin for All (Bis Repetita) (2024), and French Lover (2025). Additionally, he has directed his own short film, Un Dernier Été (2022), and is currently developing his first feature film. He is also active in the comedy scene, writing and performing a show with his partner, Ambroise Carminati, which blends stand-up, theater, and video elements.
