He initially studied at the Modern International Art Design Academy of Chongqing Technology and Business University, focusing on advertising design. His journey into the entertainment industry began in 2015 when he participated in the idol survival show X-Fire, eventually debuting as a member of the boy group X NINE in 2016.Xiao Zhan achieved breakthrough success and rose to immense fame with his leading role as Wei Wuxian in the 2019 xianxia drama The Untamed.
