Yang Mi (Chinese: 杨幂; born September 12, 1986) is a highly successful and influential Chinese actress, singer, and producer. She began her career as a child actress, making her debut at the age of four in the historical television series Tang Ming Huang (1990). Throughout the 2000s, she transitioned to adult roles and gained recognition for her work in period dramas.Her breakthrough came with the 2011 time-traveling drama Palace, which brought her immense popularity and solidified her status as a leading actress. She further cemented her stardom with roles in hit television series such as Swords of Legends (2014), The Interpreter (2016), Eternal Love (2017), and Legend of Fuyao (2018). These dramas were not only commercial successes but also earned her numerous awards and nominations, including a Best Actress win at the 26th China TV Golden Eagle Awards for her role in Beijing Love Story.In addition to her television work, Yang Mi has also appeared in a number of successful films, including the commercially successful Tiny Times film series.
