Yankel Stevan
Yankel Stevan Salido, widely known as Yankel Stevan, is a prominent Mexican actor and model born on October 20, 1995, in Mexico City, who rose to international fame for his compelling portrayal of Raúl de León in the Netflix hit series Control Z (2020–2022). The son of renowned Spanish model Aldara Salido, Stevan began his career in Cancun as a model for brands like Coca-Cola before moving to the capital at age 18 to pursue acting, debuting in the long-running series Como dice el dicho. His early television career includes notable roles in telenovelas and series such as Despertar contigo, Sincronía, and Papá a toda madre, but it was his role as the wealthy and complex antagonist in Control Z that established him as a leading talent in the "young adult" genre. In 2025, he further expanded his filmography by starring as Andrés in the supernatural horror film Don't Follow Me (No me sigas), Blumhouse Productions' first Spanish-language original, where he played a central role in the influencer-driven haunting narrative. Off-screen, Stevan has been in a high-profile relationship with fellow actress Macarena García Romero since 2019 and is recognized for using his platform to advocate against bullying and social discrimination.
