Ye He
Ye He is a Chinese actor who played the role of Zhai Huan, an observation specialist in the elite Jiaolong assault team, in the 2025 military action film Operation Hadal (also known as 蛟龙行动). Although not one of the lead actors, Ye He’s character plays a crucial tactical role within the team, assisting in navigation and enemy surveillance during underwater missions. The film, directed by Dante Lam, focuses on high-intensity submarine warfare and features a strong ensemble cast including Huang Xuan, Yu Shi, Zhang Hanyu, and Du Jiang.For his role, Ye He underwent extensive military-style training alongside the rest of the cast. This included live-fire drills, hand-to-hand combat in muddy terrain, and deepwater filming in an 18-meter pool while using oxygen tanks. The cast even signed "life and death agreements" due to the physically demanding and risky nature of the shoot. Ye He’s performance, though part of a larger team ensemble, contributed to the realism and technical depth of the film's underwater combat scenes.
