Yonas Asuncion Kibreab, born on 2010, in Los Angeles, California, is a Filipino-American actor and voice artist. He began his acting career at the age of nine and has since built an impressive portfolio across film, television, and animation. Kibreab is best known for his role as Elio Solis in Pixar’s upcoming animated film Elio, slated for release in July 2025 . In addition to his work in Elio, Kibreab has appeared in several notable projects. He portrayed Luna in the Blumhouse production Blood Moon, a film that was among the first to shoot during the COVID-19 pandemic . He also played Finn Fox in the second season of Netflix's Sweet Tooth , and voiced Phinny in the Disney Junior series Pupstruction . Kibreab's other television credits include guest roles in Silicon Valley, The Big Show Show, Raven's Home, and Better Things. He also appeared as a Jedi youngling in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi . Beyond acting, Kibreab is passionate about music, playing the piano and singing.
