Yu Hewei (born May 4, 1971) is a highly regarded Chinese actor of Hui ethnicity. A graduate of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, he has built a distinguished career in film and television, earning numerous accolades for his versatile performances. He is widely recognized for his work in historical and contemporary dramas, often portraying complex and layered characters. Some of his most notable roles include Liu Bei in the 2010 television series Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao in The Advisors Alliance, and detective Shi Qiang in the sci-fi hit Three-Body.
