Yu Hewei
Yu Hewei (born May 4, 1971) is a highly regarded Chinese actor of Hui ethnicity. A graduate of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, he has built a distinguished career in film and television, earning numerous accolades for his versatile performances. He is widely recognized for his work in historical and contemporary dramas, often portraying complex and layered characters. Some of his most notable roles include Liu Bei in the 2010 television series Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao in The Advisors Alliance, and detective Shi Qiang in the sci-fi hit Three-Body. He has received critical acclaim for his acting, winning the Best Supporting Actor at the 31st Golden Rooster Awards for his role in I Am Not Madame Bovary and Best Actor at the 27th Shanghai Television Festival for his performance in The Awakening Age.
