Yu Kang (喻亢) is a prominent Chinese actor and action choreographer, born in Hubei, China. He began training in traditional Kung Fu and martial arts at a very young age, excelling in wushu competitions and winning championships in his youth. His deep understanding and mastery of martial arts naturally led him into the film industry, initially as an action stuntman before quickly transitioning into an action director.Yu Kang is highly regarded for his contributions to the action genre, especially in Hong Kong cinema. He has frequently collaborated with leading martial arts stars and directors, bringing authenticity and intensity to fight sequences. His filmography includes numerous well-known action films where he has served as both an actor and action choreographer. As an actor, his credits include "Ip Man 3" (2015) as Master Tam, "Kung Fu Jungle" (2014) as Wang Chit, "Big Brother" (2018) as Kane Luo, "Raging Fire" (2021) as Mok Yik-chuen, and "Chasing the Dragon" (2017) as Chad. More recently, he appeared in "The Prosecutor" (2024) as Kim Hung, and has upcoming projects like "Threads of the Game" (2025).
