Yuichi Nakamura (中村 悠一, Nakamura Yūichi; born February 20, 1980) is a celebrated Japanese voice actor (seiyū), narrator, and singer from Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Characterized by his calm, clear, and versatile vocal style, he is highly sought after for a wide array of roles, typically portraying characters from their teens to their 30s, including cool-headed protagonists, charismatic anti-heroes, and complex antagonists. After graduating from high school, he moved to Tokyo with the ambition of becoming a movie dubbing artist, enrolling in the Yoyogi Animation Academy. His professional debut occurred in 2001, and over the years, he has built a massive portfolio across anime, video games, and dubbing for foreign films. He is affiliated with the agency Intention as of October 1, 2020. Nakamura's most iconic anime roles include the immensely powerful teacher Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, the Ice-Make Mage Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, the protagonist Tomoya Okazaki in Clannad, and the winged hero Hawks in My Hero Academia. He is also the official Japanese dub voice for Hollywood actors like Chris Evans (as Captain America in the MCU) and Liam Hemsworth.
