Yūko Natsuyoshi (born May 1, 1995) is a versatile Japanese voice actress and singer from Osaka Prefecture, celebrated for her ability to portray both dignified heroines and energetic, mischievous characters. A graduate of Ken Production’s voice acting school, she made her professional debut in 2018 and quickly rose to prominence by voicing Himeko Mashima in the Show By Rock!! franchise, a role that showcased her musical talent alongside her acting. She is perhaps most widely recognized by international fans for her performance as the powerful and proud Sasha Necron in The Misfit of Demon King Academy, as well as the stoic Yuyu Shirai in Assault Lily Bouquet. Her range further extends to quirky leads like the titular ninja in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki and the fan-favorite Kazusa Kyōyama in the popular mobile game Blue Archive. The year 2026 marks a significant peak in Natsuyoshi’s career, as she takes on the lead role of the enigmatic Kaguya in Shingo Yamashita’s Netflix original film, Cosmic Princess Kaguya!. In this sci-fi reimagining of the classic folktale, Natsuyoshi voices a carefree, runaway lunar princess who becomes an idol, a role that allows her to lean into her singing background with a soundtrack featuring high-profile Vocaloid producers like ryo (supercell). Beyond this film, her 2026 schedule includes voicing Julia Maxwell in the Hana-Kimi revival and Mikana in the fantasy comedy There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her. Known for her collaborative work with Studio Colorido and her active presence in idol-themed projects like Shine Post and Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (as Cheval Grand), Natsuyoshi has become a defining voice of the mid-2020s anime landscape.
