Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, he discovered his passion for acting early, participating in local theater productions as a child. Before achieving mainstream success, Levi honed his skills in regional theater, appearing in productions like "Grease," "The Outsiders," and "Godspell." His career took off with his role as Kipp Steadman in the ABC sitcom "Less Than Perfect" (2002-2006). However, it was his portrayal of the affable and resourceful computer expert Chuck Bartowski in the NBC action-comedy series "Chuck" (2007-2012) that made him a household name and earned him a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actor: Action.
