Once Again no BluRay with 4K version
Scream is one of the worst franchises for 4K movies. Most other 4Ks also include bluray (though it seems more and more are trying to escape the second bluray disk). Scream 3 doesn’t include bluray and not all of us have 4K on all our “TVs” in a household. Cheap move for an expensive metal case. My other Scream 4Ks also didn’t include a blu-ray. I knew this but there was no choice if I wanted 4K. If we don’t raise the issue, the trend will expand to more and more 4Ks.

Dated Sequel
Part 3 is my least favorite in the franchise. The concept had run its course and this movie is beating the horse dead. The Hollywood aspect just feels cheesy and not intentional. The movie has also aged poorly, IMO. Parker Posey is funny though.The disc itself sounds and looks just fine. I love the cover and the steelbook images.

The color of the case looks much better in person. It’s not as bright and I’ve actually grown to like it a lot more than I thought I would.

One Glaring Difference
Having been satisfied with the first two Scream films in their steelcases, I immediately pre-ordered Scream 3. I didn’t realize until I opened the case that this only contains a 4K disc and not a second Blu-Ray disc like the first two films did.I feel a bit duped but this is what happens when you don’t really read what you are buying. I would be curious as to why this decision was made.

Love that they brought a Scream 3 steelbook to my collection! I wish they wouldn’t have used the red cover, they should have used the cover they put on the 4k Blu Ray but this is still good

Best scream in the franchise
Overall saying the quality was top notch steelbook art is great came in pristine condition, far as the movie it’s the best scream in the franchise won’t spoil it but once you grasp the plot concept the logic kicks in, on how important this scream is to the franchise.

But, I am a huge fan of the Scream franchise and cannot justify giving it less than 5 stars for the story and beautifully rendered 4k.
