Decent Sci-Fi. I’d watch it again.
For science fiction, it’s entertaining enough. I liked the actors in it and they did well enough for the type of movie. There is one part at the end which is ridiculously unbelievable. I won’t give a spoiler, but you’ll know it when you see it. Basically, ‘how did they go from there, to there so quickly’, kind of moment. That’s the reason for my 4 stars. For the rest of the movie, I liked it and hope they do a sequel. They left it wide-open with unanswered questions for a sequel which I hope they do. If not, I won’t lose sleep.

Gritty Survival Story with Good Action and Heart
Watched Elevation recently and thought it was a solid survival thriller. The idea of people being forced to live above 8,000 feet to escape monsters was pretty cool and different. Anthony Mackie did a great job carrying the movie — you could really feel the struggle he was going through for his kid. The action scenes were good without being over-the-top, and the movie kept moving at a decent pace.It’s not a big-budget spectacle, but it’s got heart, and the story stayed interesting the whole way through. If you like survival stories with a little sci-fi mixed in, this one’s worth checking out.

It wasn’t bad, but it was t great. I like the actors who were in the movie so I enjoyed it. Storyline was good, dialogue was poor, and felt the storyline was rushed.

All in all, it was worth the rental.
Good movie, nothing award winning here but if you like a good Alien movie with a few solid action scenes then this is for you. It’s definitely one of those movies you’ll watch a few times if it happens to be on TV and you’re flipping through channels.The character build up was pretty good. There are definitely some intense parts of the movie that get your blood going a bit. The movie felt a little predictable but I suppose with these types of movies your can only come up with so many unique variations to the plot twists.

My husband rented this and said it was a great movie with good acting and was quality made.
