Good movie, but Movies Anywhere Code expired
As far as the movie goes, it’s pretty much what you expect. I caught it for free on Youtube, but it is no longer there. It’s from the same people behind 2012 and The Day After Tomorrow, so if you liked those, you’ll like this.If you’re buying this for the digital code, the version I got had its digital code expire 2019-03-31… almost 6 years ago. I won’t go into the ridiculousness of purchased digital movie codes expiring, but people should be aware. Thankfully I don’t rely on digital codes to view my movies on the go.I’ll note that this was the cheapest version of the BD + DVD combo at $4.99. That’s a great deal for physical media. I imagine it was the version first released, so later editions may not have expired codes.

One of the best
This is one of my favorite movies that I have ever seen. It has suspense, twists, and excitement all the way through. It is a movie with a unique and interesting plot. I thought the acting was great.

Not a film for American Patriots, but sadly it disappoints our Global Citizens as well.
PRODUCTION-This is a well produced movie with top notch actors-Gerard Butler plays his part well-A bit too much engineered drama, that sometimes has me roll my eyesPLOT-The US and China put up a weather control satellite net-Somebody sabotages the network and the world is at threat of a gigantic GEOSTORM that would destroy the world- Gerard Butler goes up to space to save the day- Gerard Butler’s brother works on earth to help himPOLITICSThis is where the movie will be a miss for so many.- If you’re a global warming person wanting to go see a movie on global warming, you only get the first few minutes of the movie and global warming is largely ignored- If you’re a patriotic American, the patriots are the bad guys trying to take us back to 1945. You have a Scottish Actor commanded by an Hispanic President who is very clearly a democrat (DNC banners feature prominently)…but still the US is the leader- The UN is painfully promoted throughout the entire movie (One world government, blah blah blah)…but the US leads???OVERALLIf you’re going to make it a partisan movie, just go 100% in either direction so you can at least please one group. If not, take out all of the politics and just make it an American movie or a neutral movie. It just seemed that they were trying too hard to make it a Pro UN / Anti America / Pro Global Warming movie — they oversold it to all of us and under delivered to everyone.RATINGSThis movie has received negative reviews 13% which is partially fair, but it’s well produced. It holds together. It’s just that to me the whole “UN Leads” but “US is in Charge,” “Anti-Americanism”, “Pro Global Warming” but “Ignore Global Warming” — All that stuff just got in the way of what could have been just a great disaster movie.Progressives are Good, Patriots are Bad, UN is great but US is in Charge — WOW – Just give me a good disaster film, pretty please and don’t try to brainwash me while you do it.

Kind of Goofy, but
I paid for it for one month’s viewing, but after a few days it required me to buy it again. Got half way through and was kind of bored, so I didn’t bother. Don’t like that I paid for it, but didn’t get to keep the rental for the full month. Don’t know why.

Geostorm will always be a classic.
Geostorm is one of my favorite movies. I love watching weather movies it very intriguing. That is why I was so infatuated how the weather tears up the city but it wasn’t it was control from outer space.

Predictive Programming? Maybe …
One of the natural disaster films that went under the radar for most people. Likely predictive programming to coincide with the climate change agenda, and the fearmongering that goes along with it. Regardless of intent it is a decent movie with some notable actors and actresses Including Gerard Butler. It is basically a climate change catastrophe flick.

Someday, this GEOSTORM will be seen as a Gerard Butler Classic film. Perhaps an Abby Cornish Classic, as well.Plunk in Teresa Palmer as well as others for an Australian Classic film! Thoroughly entertaing film. I recommend it highly.
