Great effort on a Just OK result
Like the actors. Lots of special effects and grimdark sets. No nudity. Problem was acting that came across as just saying your lines.

There are no Happy Endings
This is a dystopian film where civilization is similar to the 12th century in style and function, down to the Crusader Knight outfits. Gray Alys (Milla Jovovich) is a witch being hanged in the first scene. Using her mind control and illusion ability, she manages to escape. She is being hunted. She also grants wishes, but they are similar to those of the Mokey’s Paw. With every wish comes a price. The Queen (Amara Okereke), who is cheating on the near-dead King, asks Alys for a wish. She requests to become a shape-shifter, to be able to transform into a wolf. Alys must travel into the Lost Lands ( a burnt-out city) to find a werewolf and kill it. She hires Boyce (Dave Bautista) as a guide.There is a lot of action as Milla revives her fighting skills from previous films. The witch aspect adds another dimension to a film short on colorful characters.Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

The plot is the movie
This was a fun movie about getting what you asked for, even if you didn’t know that is what you wanted, even if you will regret your choices… It’s like the movie knew what people would say about it, which just makes it a perfect entry for a cult classic after it ages a bit.Definitely enjoyed it for what it was. There is a high degree of camp and predictable camp, as well as some fun and quirky surprises. This will likely enter my annual rewatch list.

Waste of time
The movie is so boring it will put you to sleep. Bad acting, most scenes are dark (makes it easy to shoot cheap footage), the story line was stupid. Overall a waste of time watching it. These Hollywood folks are getting paid a lot to put out crap, that needs to stop. When was the last time a really good movie came out.
