M3GAN 2.0 Limited Edition Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital
Original price was: $38.00.$37.95Current price is: $37.95.
The murderous doll who captivated pop culture is back. And this time she’s not alone. The original creative team behind that phenomenon–led by horror titans James Wan for Atomic Monster, Jason Blum for Blumhouse and director Gerard Johnstone–reboot an all-new wild chapter in A.I. mayhem with M3GAN 2.0. Two years after M3GAN, a marvel of artificial intelligence, went rogue and embarked on a murderous (and impeccably choreographed) rampage and was subsequently destroyed, M3GAN’s creator Gemma (Allison Williams) has become a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of A.I. Meanwhile, Gemma’s niece Cady (Violet McGraw), now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma’s overprotective rules. Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno; Ahsoka, Pacific Rim: Uprising), the ultimate killer infiltration spy. But as Amelia’s self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around. With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realizes that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger, and more lethal. As their paths collide, the original A.I bitch is about to meet her match. Directed by acclaimed returning filmmaker Gerard Johnstone, the film co-stars returning cast members Brian Jordan Alvarez and Jen Van Epps as Gemma’s loyal tech teammates, Cole and Tess, and new characters played by Aristotle Athari (Saturday Night Live, Hacks), Timm Sharp (Apples Never Fall, Percy Jackson and the Olympians) and Grammy winner and 11-time Emmy nominee Jemaine Clement (Avatar: The Way of Water, What We Do in the Shadows). Produced by James Wan, Jason Blum and Allison Williams, the film is executive produced by Gerard Johnstone, Adam Hendricks, Greg Gilreath, Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Mark D. Katchur. I enjoyed the ride.
I actually enjoyed this film. It is in another genre of film and no longer horror, but it knows what it is and does not take itself too seriously. They lean into the camp sci-fi action, and I enjoyed the ride.

Better than the first.
I watched this last night. For the first fifty-five minutes, I liked it. There was much more going on than in the first movie. But from that point on, it seemed to get worse.I liked the robot thing that the A.I. was in. It had facial expressions. Which let you understand the feelings. The “robot” looked awful. Something about it. I don’t think it looked the same as the first. The outfits the military guys had on. They just seemed so cheap. They didn’t show you some of the cool parts in the previews. Which is a shame. The movie was way too heavy on the dialog. I started to lose focus. I am not sure I have any idea what was said after a point in the movie. There were so many things happening that seemed to mean nothing.Cool at first. But it just kind of dragged on. I didn’t find it interested, entertaining or enjoyable.

Worthless movie
I saw a clip of this boring movie, it was a totally useless movie, just like the first part of this movie.

I enjoyed this movie very much
I had decided to watch in cinema before it was launched but the night before I couldn’t help watch a bit of the comments of those whose watched it before, there I got the idea it was no longer horror genre but couple other comments said it was good. So I emptied my mind of any expectations. It turned out good, it kept me following the movie from start to the end, no boring scenes, lines were kind of fun whenever Megan tried to tease Gemma, even for Marvel movies there can be sometimes 5 min lines for story development makes you a bit bored, but Megan 2.0 is really kind of a fast paced. Fun. Entertaining.I don’t mind they changed the movie type as I am too experienced of horror movie, although I love Megan first episode it was not a bit horror to me (there was a similar movie called “deadly friend* in 80’s with more gore scenes. So, no need to care of this one is the same type as the first episode, it is just a good movie.

Great series!
I’m sure it will be good. Big fan of the original, but it won’t be received until the end of the month.Update: Got it yesterday, and watched it last night! It is definitely a different movie than the first, as far as genre. It was a non-stop fun ride!!! It has elements of Mission: Impossible, Bond, Terminator; and the dark humor is laugh out loud funny! The effects, and sets are awesome. I’ll watch it again tonight. I hope they keep going with the series.Buy it!
