We all loved Monk and still miss him on TV.
My family and I have watched Monk since it first began. It was so sad to see that it was canceled on TV. years ago. But, unfortunately all good things eventually come to an end. My family and I enjoyed this last Monk episode so much. Hopefully sometime in the future Monk will return for another movie to update what the eccentric detective is doing.

Nice Sendoff, Barebones Box
I’ve watched all eight seasons of Monk back in the day and I was worried they would detract from the near perfect ending. But this is more like a nice check in on old friends, possibly not required to have a major understanding of the TV series. The box it came in has seen better days though with the cover looking like it’s been squashed and oiled. Disc is fine though, just wanted the people to know who like collecting DVDs

A Monk fan must watch
I purchased the series and I was sad when I got to the last episode. It was an addicting watch and hated to see the series end. Then was excited to see that there was one last movie made. It was a great movie and was happy with the ending

Happy to Watch
I enjoyed it. Attention to detail, just like in the show, was beyond excellent.

Don’t buy Blu Ray
I ordered Blu Ray by mistake only to find out there are no other options for this DVD. The producers/ owners of this movie should be told that this stinks. Blu Ray never became popular. I can’t even give it away.

Welcome back, Mr. Monk and friends!
I had hoped there would be a movie made (or two or three) when the series ended in 2010. In Mr. Monk’s Last Case (maybe), the entire staff reprises their roles. Even Bitty Schram has a cameo role as Sharona Fleming. Tony Shaloub (Monk), Ted Levine (Stottlemeyer), Traylor Howard (Natalie Teeger), Jason Gray-Stanford (Randy), and Hector Elizondo (Dr. Bell) step back into their characters superbly. Randy Zisk returns as the movie’s director and Andy Breckman (creator/head writer) is back. The movie’s plot is cleverly written with an assortment of hilarious bits from our obsessive-compulsive detective. However, from the outset, there is also a dark undertone to Mr. Monk’s persona that we didn’t see in the TV series. The usage of the paranormal or religion as the movie reaches a conclusion probably tells us more about where writer Andy Breckman is than I would have cared to know. Still, It is a must-see if you enjoyed the series and I watched it once streaming and again when my Blu-ray disc arrived. I was worried it would not be available on DVD or Blu-ray, so that was a relief. There is very little in the way of bonus features, especially when compared to the complete series box set.

In A Word… Excellent!
You can tell lots of tender love and care went into this Monk TV series. sequel movie. Actor Tony S. brought the actor playing Dr. Bell out of retirement and all the core team is here. The screenplay is excellent and very much like a Monk TV episode which is why we would watch this in the first place. We want to reclaim those moments. In a word, this movie is excellent and worthy to be associated with the TV show.
