Eerie in a British sort of way…
When I first watched this film I ended up asking myself, “What happened to the last 2 hours?” It wasn’t until the 2nd and 2rd watching that I began to recognize (and appreciate) the subtle manipulation of us the audience. If you’re looking for Horror and/or gruesome violence this movie is not of that sort. But if you enjoy subtleties and a plot that develops piece by piece and ends with a “bang” this film is just what you’re looking for. ENJOY!!!

Not what I expected
Its alright but it’s not what I expected. It kind of played out like a lifetime movie 🤷♀️ I am not even sure this should be categorized as horror. Maybe suspense or a who done it ?

Oddity!
Oddity is a rare horror movie gem that you cannot find at the cinema these days. It’s unique, artistic, has a dark psychedelic thriller atmosphere and is scary! Buy it if you are fan of horror!

Quality of the disc was flawless, and that’s the product I purchased. I’m not here to critique the film. I enjoyed it. You might not.

Smart Horror Movie “Oddity”
This is a great movie. Best “smart” horror movie I’ve ever seen. On Hulu now, but I wanted it in HQ to watch whenever I want on my Blu Ray player. All of the actors in this movie are excellent and the end is the best! If you haven’t seen Oddity and you appreciate smart horror (this is not a pointless slasher movie) you need to see this. Irish accents are an awesome bonus and the lead actress plays twin sisters perfectly.

Builds Mood Like No Other, Story is Meh
From the get-go, Oddity does a masterful job of building mood and suspense. You’ve always got a pit in your stomach wondering if something awful is lurking just beyond the silence…The story is pretty mediocre. But the moments this movie builds should still be greatly applauded.

Really Good!
I was taken aback by Caveat for its foreboding atmosphere and creepy clausa phobic delivery. Once I heard that talented Irish writer-director Damien McCarthy had his second feature coming out I made it a point to give it my full and undivided attention. Oddity delivered in so many ways it was almost too Perfect! Thing I love about Damien and his writing is he doesn’t always give you a straight up answer to everything. He just kind of throws you into a situation and you kind of have to fill in the blanks were needed. Other things are more straight up and dare I say predictable, but sometimes when you think it’s going one way it ends up in a totally different spot. Oddity demands your attention militantly, but the pay offs are glorious with plenty of gas to go around for multiple watches. The set pieces and takeaways will have you talking with your horror friends about for years to come. Totally my top pick for best film of the year!

The tent scene will get you
I, a veteran horror movie fan, screamed out loud at the tent scene. I’ve not been so effected by a movie in years. The overall premise of the film was unique and haunting. I consider it to be one of the best horror films of 2024.

Creepy movie
A very underrated movie. So glad I got on sale here on Amazon. The price was great and I was happy to buy it. The movie looks great and it is very rewatchable movie.
